The intention is for users to discuss any Wiki issues here.

I'm not sure what the Community Portal is supposed to do.

But regardless - if you think the change makes sense, go ahead and make the change - we can always roll it back if others disagree, and for now, I'd rather have people making whatever changes they thing work rather than standing back to see what happens - so go for it.
