Upload Using Share Button ==== This will create a **new topic** in the forum category you select. - Select the Macro you wish to share in the Editor. - Click on the Share button. - Leave the *Category* on *Questions & Suggestions* if you are asking a question related to the macro. - Change the *Category* to *Macro Library* if you are sharing a working macro for others to use. - By default, both the macro and an image of the macro will be included. - Click on the “New Topic” button (or before version 10.0, click the “Both” button). {{::share-button.png?214&nolink|}} and then this popup will appear {{::share-macro-to-forum.png?450&nolink|share-macro-to-forum}} ==== 2. To include the macro in an Existing Topic ==== After the new topic is created by the *Share to Forum*: - Select **all** in the new topic. - **Cut** the selection. - **Cancel/Abort** the new topic in the forum. - Goto the existing topic, and edit your message or create a reply. - **Paste** into the forum editor in the topic you're working in. Manual Upload ==== Follow these steps to manually export your macro to files, then upload: - Click on the macro name in the Keyboard Maestro editor - Goto //File > Export Macro//, and save wherever you'd like - Goto //Edit > Copy as > Copy as Image// - Open Mac Preview app, and goto //File > New from Clipboard//, and save. - Go to the Keyboard Maestro forum thread, and click on reply - Enter some descriptive text, - Use the file upload button in the Keyboard Maestro Forum Editor to upload both files. - **or** drag and drop files from the Finder into the Keyboard Maestro Forum Editor. - **or** using most web browsers other than Safari you can copy and paste into the Keyboard Maestro Forum Editor. - Images in the Clipboard or files copied from the Finder can be pasted. - The [Select Clipboard Image File](https://forum.keyboardmaestro.com/t/select-clipboard-image-file/204) macro may also be useful for posting images.
