The Send SMS and Send iMessage actions let you send a message to someone using Apple’s Messages application.

⚠️ Warning: there have been cases where Messages sends the message to the wrong recipient. Do not send overly sensitive messages and verify delivery.

You can select a recipient from the Contact popup menu, or use a name, email address or phone number as appropriate.
